Age Groupings and name:
New Age Rooball – As of 2006 Football Federation Northern Territory will be introducing new age appropriate games as established in conjunction with the Australian Sports Commission and Football Federation Australia’s – National Junior Football Framework.
These modified games are developed to encourage “More” ball contacts for players and better opportunities to develop technically. The Northern Territory will be the first to introduce these new initiatives in 2006 and look forward to providing them through all local competition formats.
The New Age Rooball concept will be phased in over the next 2 years to ensure that the transition from current modified Rooball games to the New Age Concept has limited affects upon players and their ongoing development.
Additional information is available from the FFNT Web Site http://www.footballnt.com.au
