Two teams of 15 have the task of outscoring the opposing team. Players are required to pass the ball backward or laterally across the pitch. When tackled the ball carrier must release the ball.

Brief description of competition: Modified rugby union rules played in accordance with the Australian Rugby Union Junior Player Pathway Program. Emphasis on developing lasting health, fun and friendship by encouraging team work, leadership, and sportsmanship, while maximising skill development, enjoyment and safety.

Training days and times: U6 to U14 Tuesday & Thursday 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
U16 Tuesday & Thursday 6.00pm to 7.00pm ( with our senior teams)

What do they need to bring to training? Appropriate clothes to run in, joggers or football boots, water bottle (optional for U10 & over mouthguard) |
Public transport near training? Yes, bus stops outside Moulden Park School, next to oval.
Where are competitions held?
Optus Rugby Park, Abala Road, Marrara.
Home games may be played during the season at Moulden Oval.

Friday nights from 5.45pm U6, U8 & U10
U12s approx 6.15pm
U14s approx 7.00pm
U16s approx 8.30pm
Cost per season:
U6s $30.00
U8s to U16s $55.00.
All fees include player registration, club shorts and socks.
Uniform requirements: Navy Blue shorts, Red, White and Blue football socks ( included with rego fees). Football boots or runners. Mouthguard optional U10 and over. Jersey supplied on game days
Uniform Costs: Uniform costs included in player registration Boots / runners from sports / shoe store Mouthguard from chemist – can be made by dentist (conditions apply). Club Tshirt $30.00, Bucket Hats $15.00.
Is there an opportunity to compete in a NT title? If so, what are the dates and where will it be held?
U16s NT Team compete in Australian Championships in Sydney in October each year.
What do they need to bring to competitions? Playing gear, shorts, socks, boots, sunscreen, water bottle.
Public transport near competition: Transport for players is covered for all title competitions – no need for public transport.
Would you appreciate parent volunteers? Volunteers are always appreciated. Help is often needed on game days and always needed when home games are played.
