Rugby League

A ball sport played on a rectangular grassed field. Players are required to run up the field with the ball and touch the ball down behind the try line in order to score. Points may also be scored by kicking the ball between the H shaped goals. The opposing team attempts to prevent scoring by tackling players.

Saturday 9th of February Training Clinics with NRL player guest for South Darwin Juniors only.
June / July proposed trip to see South Sydney home game in NSW at Telstra Stadium with David Peachey as host - open for all Junior International players, who turn up to training and train, and turn up to their games and play.

Public transport near training: Yes. As training is held at CDU, Casuarina, there are 2 bus stops along side the oval and also the main terminal at Casuarina Shopping Centre, just a ten minute walk away.

Dripstone High School Oval.

Cost per season:
$60 p/p. Includes shorts, socks, club shirt and insurance, plus jerseys at competitions.

Uniform requirements:
Uniform supplied upon payment of registration monies

What do they need to bring to competitions? Shorts, socks and boots. Jerseys are supplied by the club at the competitions.

Public transport near competition: Yes. As competitions are held at Dripstone High, once again, there are 2 bus stops along side the oval and also the main terminal at Casuarina Shopping Centre, just a five minute walk away.

Would you appreciate parent volunteers? Yes, as with any sporting club, parent volunteers are always appreciated. We sell raffle tickets at Casuarina Club Thursday & Friday nights, there is a rotating roster for the canteen and set up / pull down at Saturday morning competitions and parents are always welcome on the field to assist and watch their children at training sessions.
