Where is training held? Marrara Judo Trains at Marrara Indoor stadium on Sprung, large permanently laid Tatame mat area. Marrara indoor Stadium Abala Road Marrara

Training days and times:
6 to 9 years Mondays 5.30 to 6.30 - beginners welcome
10 to 13 years on Wednesday 5.30 to 6.30 - beginners welcome
Over 13 years including adults 6.30 to 8.00pm on Mondays (intermediate, beginners and social players) and Wednesdays (advanced and competition) with Brad Fong 2nd dan (NT Coach) and Kelly Fong 2nd dan (Current National Champion and international medallist).

What do they need to bring to training? Water bottle and clean feet, thongs to be worn to mat edge. Beginners, Shorts and T-shirt (with no buttons), Jackets are available to borrow.

Public transport near training: Public buses

Where are competitions held? Jabiru, Katherine and Darwin

Competition days and times: Second Sunday of each month

Cost per season:
Training fees $30 for 10-week term.
Yearly JFA NT Registration $30 juniors, $60 seniors.
Introduction packages available for juniors $99,seniors $129 includes new Judo suit, registration and training fees for 10 weeks.

Uniform requirements: Beginners, Shorts and T-shirt (with no buttons), Jackets are available to borrow

Uniform Costs: Judo suits $55 available from club

Is there an opportunity to compete in a NT title? If so, what are the dates and where will it be held? Yes Held every year in October. Alternates between Katherine and Darwin

What do they need to bring to competitions? Water Bottle, $5 entry and Judo suit

Uniform requirements: Judogi – Judo suit consisting of Jacket, pants and belt. Not essential when you start training, but required for grading and competitions
