Brief description of competition: Works on rounds – with 3 rounds per season. Breaking over the June/July Holidays. All about having fun!

Season dates: April 2005 – September 2005 An indoor competition is run from November to March.

Where is training held? Vodafone Hockey Centre within the Marrara Sporting Complex (opposite the Gun Club)

What do they need to bring to training?
Stick, shin-pads, water bottles and their smiles.

Training days and times:
Wednesdays from 5-6pm
Public transport near training?
Bus stop nearby.

Where are competitions held?: Vodafone Hockey Centre, Marrara Sporting Complex

Competition days and times: Saturday Mornings.
U8s play at 8:30am every Saturday but the rest will vary from 8:00am till 12:40pm (being the last game to be played).
U16s play on Friday nights (anywhere between 5:30pm and 8:30pm)

Cost per season:
U10/U8s - $50, $45 for second child
U16/U13 - $115 (which covers game fees, registration, turf fees)
Junior playing seniors - $200 (which covers game fees for both games, turf fees and registration)

Uniform requirements: Black shorts (black skirt for the girls) club socks, club shirt, shin pads and runners. We encourage children to wear a hat and mouth guard when playing. The children are able to access a form for a mouth guard to be made free of charge at their school dentist.

Uniform Costs:
Club shirt = $20.00
Club Socks = $7.00
Have shorts ($25) and skirts ($35) available but sizes do vary.

Is there an opportunity to compete in a NT title? If so, what are the dates and where will it be held? There are opportunities - dates and places change every year. Training, however, will be held at Vodafone Hockey Centre unless otherwise stated by the coach.

What do they need to bring to competitions? Stick, shin pads, hat, water bottle and plenty of laughs. If juniors are playing seniors there will be a gate fee.

Would you appreciate parent volunteers? Volunteers would be appreciated. The juniors run a tea/coffee/cake stalls every Saturday mornings. The money raised from this table go towards the Junior Presentation Night at the end of the season. The club also does a lot of other fundraising throughout the year.

What do they need to bring to training? Water bottle, Hat, Runners, Clothes that can be run in. A stick/shinpads can be borrowed with prior notice.

Where are competitions held?
Vodafone Hockey Centre Marrara Sporting Complex Abala Rd Marrara

Competition days and times: Play either Saturday mornings (8.30-1pm) – U8, U10 and U13’s or Friday nights (5.30-9pm) for the U16’s.

Under 18’s Mens are held on 23rd May 2006 in Darwin.
