Brief description of competition:
Sprint kart racing on bitumen tracks under rules and regulations of Australian Karting Association.

Season dates:
Championship season runs from March to September with non-Championship meetings in October and informal club days before and after season.

Where is training held?
No organised training sessions.
Club members have free use of track to practise up till 11:00 any day. Also on designated Club days.

What do they need to bring to training?
Standard safety gear - race suit, helmet, gloves, boots - and kart as per AKA regulations.

Uniform requirements: Standard safety gear - race suit, helmet, gloves, boots as per Australian Karting Association regulations

Uniform Costs: Variable depending on personal preference. Second hand gear can be bought from local kart dealers and through club newsletter (see website)

Is there an opportunity to compete in a NT title? If so, what are the dates and where will it be held?
For all drivers on "C" class licence or higher (no "P" plates) - 2006 NT Sprintkart Titles: 23 - 25 June Hidden Valley Raceway Hidden Valley

What do they need to bring to competitions? Standard safety gear - race suit, helmet, gloves, boots - and kart as per AKA regulations. Juniors (under 16 y/o) must be accompanied by parent/guardian at all times

Yes, parent volunteeers are always needed to help with canteen/bar, flag marshalling, and we are always looking for adults interested in becoming Race Stewards.
