Age Groupings and name: All ages from 6 and up. Darwin Athletics Centre Competition Name: Athletics. Single sex or mixed competition?: Competition for boys and girls with some mixed events. Brief description of competition: Friday night competition with emphasis on participation. Three times per year Club also competes with other Athletics Clubs in Inter Club Competition. Season dates: 16th March to late August.
Where are competitions held?: Arafura Athletics Centre, Marrara. Competition days and times?: Every Friday night at 5.45PM during the season. Cost per season: TBA Uniform requirements: Club Singlet and black shorts. Uniform Costs: $20-$25 Is there an opportunity to compete in a NT title? If so, what are the dates and where will it be held? NT Championships held first weekend of September in Darwin. Also for Age 12+ team sent to Nth Queensland Championships in Townsville late September through NT Athletics. What do they need to bring to competitions?: Water bottle, sunscreen, hat and uniform. Public transport near competition?: Public Buses. Would you appreciate parent volunteers?: Yes.
